Baby has arrived !!!

Gosh, I’m late with this post.
Anyhoo, a lot has happened but here is the most imnportant bit:
On 27 August at 8:00 (exactly) Amelia Elizabeth Myburgh was born via caesarian section; weighing 3.495kg and 50cm long.
Just born – ok, so she’s cleaned up a bit and wrapped in a towel 
The actual birth pic is a bit graphic.
Henk got to bring her to me so that we can officially meet face to face. (doesn’t matter what the husband looks like, as soon as they put on theatre scrubs they look like doctors, lol )
Back in mommy’s hospital room. Getting acquainted for first feed.

Congratulations on your new arrival! She looks gorgeous and healthy. I love the smile on your face and especially how your eyes are sparkling as you look up at your husband — that must have been such an unbelievably joyful moment in your lives.
Mixed emotions in that picture. Most of all Joy, but cannot ignore fear, awe, sadness and… supercalifragelisticexpialidocious.
