I got this absolutely stunning email from a friend. I don’t know who to credit for these images. (There was a link way at the bottom though)

There are some stunning shots of our soccer spirit, stadiums, the opening ceremony, giant vuvuzela on the incomplete bridge in Cape Town, kalbas (calabash) stadium at night, soccer fans etc.  These pics make me proud to be South African.

Here’s mine for this week:

We’re in the Mother City for a long weekend. In the spirit of ayoba this MASSIVE vuvuzela was erected on the unfinished highway (city planners made a calculation error a few years back, and now this unfinished bridge has been ideal for many adverts and movie scenes). Apparently this horn will sound every time a goal is scored at Green Point stadium during the 2010 Soccer World Cup.
